Overview
As buildings get taller and glazing gets heavier, the way glass and facade panels are made and installed has to change.
Glazing units can weigh 25 to 250 kg, and safety guidance rates two-person manual lifts above 50 kg as high risk. Mechanised handling and automated panel processing make work safer and output more consistent.
Apazone helps fabricators and installers choose the right equipment, plan where it goes, and coordinate import, commissioning, training and after-sales service with the manufacturer.
Support from the first conversation to the first production run.
Needs assessment
Capacity, materials, floor space and budget, measured before anything is ordered.
Machine selection and layout
Equipment matched to the production line or the site.
Import and commissioning
Logistics and installation with the manufacturer's technicians.
Training and service
Operator training, spare parts and maintenance liaison.
Focus
Safer glazing at height
A battery-powered glazing robot can place heavy glass units from inside a building, without a large external crane and without workers carrying the load.
CNC machines for composite facade panels: vertical-table routing, automatic edge milling and folding, and loading automation for aluminium, ACM, HPL and fibre-cement.
Storage and handling systems: pallet racking, long-goods storage for profiles, mezzanines and storage forklifts, with in-house sheet-metal processing. ISO 9001 certified, operating since 1972.
