A Multifaceted Journey to Leadership
Michael Sorg’s journey to leadership is a tale of international education and industry experience. Born in Frankfurt am Main in 1986, his academic voyage took him to the Bocconi University of Economics in Milan for a bachelor’s degree and later to the University of St. Andrews in Scotland for a master’s degree. His dedication continued with professional training as a state-examined glass technician at the Glasfachschule Zwiesel.
A Global Perspective in Glass
Michael Sorg honed his skills and gathered invaluable experience while working with prestigious international firms in the glass industry. His journey led him to the doors of SORG in 2018. Fluent in multiple languages, including German, Spanish, Italian, French, and English, Michael Sorg initially played a pivotal role in sales activities across D-A-CH countries at SORG. In 2019, he took on the mantle of Managing Director of SORG Holding alongside Alexander Sorg.
With this new chapter in leadership, Michael Sorg signifies a promising future for both SORG and EME GmbH, setting the stage for continued excellence and growth in the industry.
