Elevating Milan: VITRUM and Vision Milan Glass Week
In a bid to position Milan as the epicenter of all things glass, two illustrious international events, VITRUM and Vision Milan Glass Week, have taken center stage. These events are championed by GIMAV, a prominent association within Confindustria, uniting Italian suppliers of machinery, accessories, equipment, and specialized products for glass processing. For a week, Milan will shine brightly on the world stage, hosting an array of events, exhibitions, guided tours, exclusive showroom openings, workshops, meetings, and much more, all centered around the international glass industry.
Setting the Stage
On a vibrant Monday, September 4, the Castello Sforzesco’s Sala della Balla witnessed a press conference where over 100 initiatives were unveiled. These initiatives will shape the program of Vision Milan Glass Week and the 23rd edition of VITRUM. VITRUM stands tall as the preeminent trade fair in the glass sector, serving as the pivotal gathering point for companies and professionals in the realm of hollow and flat glass processing. The event will take place at Fiera Milano Rho from September 5 to 8.

The press conference commenced with esteemed guests extending their greetings. Notable figures included Adolfo Urso, the Minister of Enterprises and Made in Italy; Tommaso Sacchi, the Councillor for Culture of the Municipality of Milan; and Antonio Lucarelli, the Director of the Industrial Technology, Energy, and Environment Office of the ICE Agency.
