Vaider Group: A New Era in Glass Packaging

In a strategic move aimed at enhancing corporate efficiency and strengthening its position in the competitive packaging glass market, the GlobalGlass Group is undergoing a significant transformation. The group, which currently owns four subsidiaries, including Steklarna Hrastnik in Slovenia and SFS Paraćin in Serbia, is set to change its name to “Vaider Group.” This change is part of a comprehensive initiative to revamp the group’s image, trademarks, and overall business functions.

A Visionary Leader

Igor Lah, President of the newly christened Vaider Group, expressed the organization’s commitment to ongoing growth and expansion. This includes development plans for Steklarna Hrastnik and SFS Paraćin, as well as the reinforcement of sales offices abroad, currently operating in France and Great Britain.

A Legacy of Growth

The Group’s recent acquisition of Srbska fabrika stakla in Paraćin in the latter half of 2022 marks a significant milestone. An extensive investment cycle is already underway, with a new furnace set to come online as early as 2024. This development will substantially increase packaging glass production capacity and bolster the group’s presence across Central and Southeast Europe.

Unwavering Values, Fresh Identity

While the core values of all companies within the group remain steadfast, Vaider Group unveils an updated visual identity. This refreshed brand image symbolizes the group’s shared goals, reflecting expansion and coordinated efforts within the extended family of companies. With over 160 years of tradition and expertise in glass packaging manufacture, Vaider Group embodies a new global brand for the 21st century.

United Leadership for a Bright Future

The Vaider Group will be led by a dedicated and united management team, including President Igor Lah, CEO Peter Čas, MSc, and CFO Tanja Petročnik. Key roles within the group will be held by individuals such as Matevž Fazarinc, COO of Vaider Group and Managing Director of Steklarna Hrastnik d.o.o., Magdalena Šurina, Executive Finance Director, Klemen Resman, Executive Sales and Marketing Director, Nataša Bukanovsky Kosi as Executive Director for Legal and General Affairs, and Andrej Obreza as Executive Supply Chain Director. These seasoned leaders will complement their existing roles within the production companies of the Vaider Group, ensuring a cohesive and forward-looking approach.
