Calderys, a leading player in high-temperature solutions, has revealed its new corporate brand platform, encapsulating the company’s purpose and values. Following a change in ownership and the integration with HarbisonWalker International (HWI), now ‘HWI – a member of Calderys,’ the platform underscores the group’s global impact and commitment to sustainability and innovation.
The ambitious purpose declares, “We are the vital partner of all high temperature industries, supporting them in building a better world through sustainable solutions.” This emphasizes Calderys’ pivotal role in refractories, its enduring customer relationships spanning over 150 years, and its commitment to making a positive impact.
The brand platform also features a new signature, “Forged in legacy. Fueled by excellence,” highlighting the group’s rich heritage dating back to the 19th century and its ongoing pursuit of excellence.
Michel Cornelissen, President and CEO of Calderys, emphasized the brand platform as a significant step in integrating HWI into Calderys. He stated, “This is an exciting step as we build unity in our organization, affirming a renewed ambition for future growth.”
As part of the platform, Calderys introduces values shaped by an employee-led initiative: tenacity, accountability, multiculturalism, and authenticity. These values represent the core of the company culture, fostering determination, responsibility, diversity, and integrity.
In January 2023, Calderys rebranded as a standalone entity, introducing a new visual identity. The subsequent integration of HWI into Calderys solidified their position, with HWI now recognized as a member of Calderys.
